My first full week of school happened to be overwhelming and exciting. Most of the teachers rushed through things trying to start the year off on a positive note. I enjoy my classes and teachers. The classes I am currentlty taking include, Theology 11, HN Algebra 2, Spanish 2 and English 11. All of my classes challenge me and happen to be alot of fun. Over all my expierene for the first week of school was good.
ReplyDeleteIn literature class I expect to learn how to become a better writer. I want to be able to read a book and see more than just the words on the page (I want to recognize the under lying message). I enjoy reading and it would be helpful if I could learn the concepts of analyzing the text. That is what I expect to get out of Literature class.
I expecxt to learn how to express kindness, love, and to show mercy towards others this year from the Trinity community.I will do my best to learn by joining activities that I normally would not, such as the retreat ministiry
My internship this year is located at South Pointe Hospital on wednesdays
My first week of school was kind of crazy getting back into the swing of things. Other then it being crazy over all it was a good week. It was also exciting to know that I am half way done with high school. I enjoy my classes and teachers so far. My classes this term are Chemistry 1, U.S. History, Spanish 2 and English 11. So far i really like them but i know as the term goes by they will get harder.
ReplyDeleteIn literature class i expect how to get the really meaning out of the novel. Usually when i read I know what is happening but there is usually more to the story that I don not pick up on. Also i would like to become a better writer. I do not usually write or read unless it is assigned.
I expect to lean how to be a better student this year. I always do my homework but I am not good at studying or taking test. So I would like to take more time and work harder.
My internship this year is at Marymount Hospital on Mondays.
The first week of school for me was pretty exciting. I got to see my friends that i didn't get to see over the summer so it was good to see them again. The classes that I have this term are pretty good. I know there are going to be some challenges, but I'm up for it.
ReplyDeleteWhat I expect to gain from literature class is a full understanding of U.S. literature from the stories that we are going to read and discuss about in class.
I want to learn how to be more caring to others that I really don't talk to and get to know them better personally and I want to grow closer to the friends that I already have. I would like to learn how to be more of a spiritual person from the Trinity community.
This year my internship is going to be at Marymount Houpital on Tuesdays.
My first week of school has been crazy. It has been weird trying to get back into going through classes. Also it has been good because now I can see my friends everyday seeing that I didn't have the opportunity that much during the summer.
ReplyDeleteDuring Literature class I hope to gain the knowledge of many new books we read in class. Also I hope to learn how to read a book without drifting into space and pay attention to what I am reading.
In my other classes that I have this year I wish to gain more knowledge of everything that is possible. I also hope to gain enough knowledge during these classes to pass them with an easy A+.
This year my internship is going to be at Marymount Hospital on Fridays.
My first full week at school was good, i remembered where all my classes were thank goodness(: but i was just surprised about somethings that went on in some of the classes. The week actually went by a little quicker than i expected, but it was a fun week.
ReplyDeleteI expect to do better this year in my literature class and if i need help ill no to ask! I just need to buckle down and get me act together, i know i can do it. The first week i started off a little rough but i know i need to take the rest of the year seriously.
I expect to learn allot this year adding on to what i already learned. It might be a challenge by i'm willing to do it. I hope to take on these experiences to further achievements.
This year my internship is at Mary Mount Hospital in dietary on Tuesdays. But if i have to get surgery which i hope i wont. It might have to be changed wish me goodluck(:

my firstweek of school as been tireding and exhausting. The homework and meeting new teachers was difficult. It's so hard trying to adjust myself from summer mode back into school mode. I hate waking up early and actually haveing to do something in the morning, but my friends and peers make it a great place to be and allow me to have a good time.
ReplyDeleteThis year i hope to achive better self control over my immature actions and obtain knowledge over different books and differnt literature. I will try and do my best and listen to all teachers. I'm hopeing for a good half term and a fun one.
Everything i do in school will benefit me throughout my life, so i should focus now and get prepared for the real world.
My internship is on tuesday, but idk where im working yet.
My first full week of school was just the normal everyday school feeling, same old same old and boring. Just like everyone else I didn't like the feeling of switching from summer to school so early.
ReplyDeleteThis year in class I hope to achieve and accomplish a lot more than I did last year. I am also looking forward to all my classes though because they are average, not too hard or not too easy! I also expect to work very hard towards my school goals and complete them.

My experience this first full week of school was great. I got to see all of my friends that I don't normally see and I got to start volleyball.
ReplyDeleteI want to gain more concentration while I'm reading and studying. Sometimes I don't pay attention to what I'm reading and I end up failing the test. I need to boost my mad reading comprehension skills.
In other classes I expect to try my hardest with every assignment and hope for a good grade. I need to put more effort into my school work.

My first week of school seemed to begin and end all in the blink of an eye. I do not even think words can really describe the full range of emotions running through my head throughout the first week of school. I was; excited, nervous, overwhelmed, pleased, surprised, intrigued, and probably the most prominent, exhausted. This school year began so quickly yet amid all the excitement and "hustle and bustle" it still holds promise to be a good year.
ReplyDeleteIn Literature class this year I really hope to enhance both my writing ability, as well as my ability to analyze literature more thoroughly and precisely. It is my intention to move forward in my English career and eventually receive a degree in English but more specifically World Literature.
This year my internship is at Marymount Hospital in 3 East, where I will be working as a Junior Nurses Assistant. I am very excited to become such an active member of the medical team at Marymount and I am very happy I get the chance to have such a hands on work experience.
My first full week of school went by really fast. It was probably because I was so angry we were back, that I didn't want to think about the time, and just hope it goes by as fast as it can. I need to concentrate more when we are reading. Reading is one of my least favorite things, so the slightest more entertaining thing will attract me. The only class i expect to learn anything from this term is English. I want to learn how to take my writing to the next level. Theology doesn't interest me because i'm not catholic. Spanish is a waste of time. I would rather take German. Art is something I take for fun. I am looking forward to next term because I have algebra 2, and i love math. My internship is at Trinity with Mr. Straffen on Mondays.

For one we went back way too early and it sucked when my friends from other schools did not have to be home early to go to school the next day. The second thing that I realized was this term is going to be pretty difficult. In English 11 I hope to become better at writing. Something I hope to gain better study habits and to try harder while doing homework. This year my internship is at Marymount Hospital in the Rehab department on Tuesday.

My first week of school was boring. I'm upset that we started school so early. The classes I have this term are Spanish 2, Band, Advertising and Promotional Desgin, and English 11.
ReplyDeleteWhat I hope to gain in English Literature class this year is to write more efficiently. I also want to learn how to write my ideas down. Also to learn how to read faster.
This year my intership will be on Mondays I have not been assigned a job yet.
My first full week of school was rather exciting. Call me a nerd, but the fact that I was understanding the chemistry was a great feeling. After chem. It was on to Spanish which was ok. Then to my promotional advertising class which is part of my internship course. It was great to use the Macs again and make a project with the Adobe programs I have come to love. Last was English which I was excited for. Last year me and the teacher butted heads a bit, but when as was said and done, it was a good class. So when I found that this year would be even better than the last, I was ready to go.
ReplyDeleteWhat I expect to gain from literature class is a difficult question for me. When I think about it I keep coming back to the idea of forming a thesis. But I also want to learn about some good old fashioned American writing. But if I can focus on both I will. In my other classes I just want to make it through alive. I’ll try my best in all of them and hopefully A’s will be the outcome. My internship is at Enerco on Mondays.
Lets sit down and write down my thoughts on the first full week of school. First we went back way to early then everyone else. I feel that we lost about two to three weeks of summer vacation. Also on top of a short summer, we had to do summer reading that a killer my summer. My first full week a school was hell i tell you. I had test and quiz left and right in every classes. That whole first full week in Spanish i had test everyday. I wish Trinity had some other languages beside Spanish because i have no interested in learning Spanish i would rather learn French or Italian. So i feel the should at least give the students a couple choices of language to pick from. This year i would like to put more time and effort in to my blogging and hopefully the blogging will help me become a better writer and how to express my feeling on paper. My internship this year will be located at the same hospital. But the differences is i will on doing transport and Im on Monday this year.
ReplyDeleteMy first full week was kind of overwhelming. I thought the summer went by way to fast and i did not want to be back to school. It was funny getting all my new binders and stuff together. I am happy that we are doing these blogs again. Sometimes it is hard to say what you want in class. There are too many people and sometimes everyone is trying to talk at once. So when you blog you are able to really say what you want and people can see how you really feel about certain topics. I hope while taking this class I can enhance my writing skills and just learn anything else there is too know!
ReplyDeleteMy first week of school was kinda weird.I feel like I'm still new because its the first time Ive started a year at trinity. plus, I'm still getting to know a lot of people. I guess all I expect to gain from this class is the knowledge needed to pass. I cant really say I expect something from a school since Ive been to a few different ones and don't really know what to expect, but again I would have to say I want to learn what I need to graduate. I have no clue where my internship is, but I know its on a Monday.

ReplyDeletemy first week of school started on a positive note. i can honestly say i wasn't to excited about coming back to school knowing this year would be my hardest and i had to step my game up. my classes this term are spanish 2, u.s history, theology 11, and english 11. i enjoy each of them equally knowing my friends are there with me. i expect to gain alot of knowledge this semester that will help me in the future. i am more focused this year then i was freshman and sophmore year because i realized i only have 2 more years until college and need to shapen up. overall i think this year is going to be fun. im a nursing assistant at marymount hospital .
ReplyDeleteMy first week of school was full of lots of work in every class. My class consist of physical science, Spanish 2, Advanced Promo. Design, and English 11. I like all of my classes so far. I will do all my blog assignments, and try to write in a more professional way. I expect to develop the ability to voice my opinion without retelling the story. I believe that this will help me to do better in the class. I also believe that my classmates will be able to assist me in my writing because they can now see it. I want to become a better writer in Literature class. I hope to do as many activities at Trinity this year as possible. My internship is at Mary mount hospital in the security department.
ReplyDeleteMy first week of school was awkward. I had to switch up all my classes and I had no idea where to go. Once we got everything settled it was fine. I'm not much of a reader so I'm hoping that I can understand more with practice. The rest of my classes are going well. I understand everything that we're covering in class. I'm working with the St. Charles "Got Prayer?" retreat. I'm looking forward to it. My internship is at Swagelok. I'm in system operations but I don't know what I'm doing yet.
